This is the story cover art of the upcoming story called "GATE: Thus the Philippine Army Fought There". This Wattpad fanfiction, alternate-universe story was inspired by one of the stories of the same name "Gate: Thus the NRA fought there", and it will take place one week after the end of the Battle of Marawi . This is when a magical gate suddenly appears in the mixed-use commercial development of Araneta City, in Quezon City, Metro Manila, causing panic, destruction, and utter chaos as Roman-styled soldiers and mythical creatures such as dragons, invaded the development and the city.

Following the incident; dubbed "October Araneta invasion" & the "Araneta 10/30 incident", the Philippine government under the Trillanes administration led by Sergio Trillanes Rodriguez Jr.); the incumbent president during the Battle of Marawi, and chairperson of the PDP–Laban party, issued a proclamation act that the Philippine Army will be moving through the "Gate" in order to find out who they are dealing with, know more about the different world, make friends with the locals, and to initiate peace negotiations with the "Empire".

Initially, it was to take place in August 1986, 6 months after the People Power Revolution , but had since been through major changes in the storyline in September 19, 2021.
