Had to sorta rush this one, lots of other projects going on, but i really wanted to have a stab at a competition on DA, so here it is!
tools:
A4 smooth bristol
0.5mm 2H, HB mech pencils
2mm HB mech Pencil
kneaded and electric erasers
tissue for blending.

it's pretty ridiculous indeed. seems the ones they're determined to continue are graphic design, photography and animation. i'm actually seriously worried because for those of us who don't pass this course, there won't be a next year; art & design foundation's going.

nope, im going to stick with my 'second choice' which has always been animation, and luckily managed to get a spot on that course instead. its too late to look at other unis and sort out accommodation, etc..

indeed, deadlines have been quite hectic in my opinion (except for late applications, but i've not applied to one of those). congrats on getting into animation anyway! a friend of mine's on it at portsmouth, he says it's alright — but then he would say that having 3 weeks off for some reason heheh

got myself a nice 2mm mech pencil (like this one [link] ) and its great for pressing down really hard because the lead is so much thicker and dosen't break...but you need to get separate lead containers due to the size of them....and a special lead sharpener..but its worth it!! seriously chuffed my drawings inspire you.

Hi mate i have just bought the same clutch penci,leads and sharpener. i have been using it on the hair of Vikki Blows and i,m also very pleased with it.

I,m getting into my art much more now,two drawings on the go and starting a oil painting.

not even close. ive done half the right leg and the face. but i gotta tell you, the skin on her is the best ive ever done, A2 just allows for soooo much better blending. ive come to the conclusion that this drawing is for when i have time 'in-between' other drawings, if you see what i mean...? ive started two more commissions, and have a list of a few more...but ive put my prices up because im in such high demand
2 a2 drawings? ambitious! and i didnt know you liked oils..personally i cant stand them, to much messing around with white spirit..

sorry mate cant help you there, i haven't submitted any prints on DA yet. all the commissions i do are hand drawn individually...which drawing did they want as as print?
