Yea!! That day I shot this it was sunny 5 feet from the spot he landed it was bright and sunny.. he FINDS the dark places to mock me!! heheheh

Actually not a bad shot, but who am I to say? I have never seen a cardinal before. I'm 43 now and I saw my very first bluebird only last summer. Haven't seen one since.

Im 60 and I've never seen a bluebird even though they claim to live near me. The cardinal is exceptionally pretty , but he moves fast and will NOT land where the light is good.. once I catch him in the light you'll see .. but I've been trying for 3 years!!

It's deceptive. He was on the snow about 10 feet away. I shoot from an open window with the 150mm lens.. They're beautiful but I can't catch the little bugger in the full sun!
