Histórico: Doce, pacifico e delicado, Shun é o irmão mais novo de Ikki de Fênix e esconde um grande segredo: é a reencarnação de Hades, o Deus dos Mortos. Sempre foi defendido por seu irmão mais velho na infância e foi considerado por seus amigos como chorão. Ninguém acreditava que ele poderia sobreviver ao treinamento pesado de um Cavaleiro. Trocou de lugar com seu irmão e foi para Ilha de Andrômeda, onde foi treinado pelo poderoso Albion de Cefeu. Contrariando as expectativas de todos, Shun retorna ao Japão possuindo a Armadura de Bronze de Andrômeda. Se demonstra um hábil Cavaleiro ao vencer seus oponentes na Guerra Galáctica, mas seu ponto fraco é a sua compaixão, que o faz temer ferir outras pessoas. Esconde um grande poder para não ferir ninguém e usa a Corrente de Andrômeda para diminuir sua força. É bastante cauteloso em combate, sendo mais estratégico e prefere a defensiva para analisar seu adversário. É terrivelmente atacado por seu irmão, quando este retorna da Ilha da Rainha da Morte completamente dominado pelo ódio. Enfrenta Ikki e os Cavaleiros Negros, supera a dor de perder seu irmão, que retorna a vida para ajuda-los. Luta contra os Cavaleiros de Prata e trava incríveis batalhas com Saga e Afrodite. Mantém-se fiel a Athena durante os ataques de Hilda e Poseidon. Finalmente é revelado que ele é a reencarnação de Hades, ou melhor, o receptáculo do Imperador. Depois de ser liberto do espírito de Hades pelo sangue de Athena, Shun acompanhar seus amigos na batalha final contra Hades.

History: Sweet, peaceful and delicate, Shun is the younger brother of Ikki of Phoenix and hides a great secret: it is the reincarnation of Hades, the God of the Dead. He was always defended by his older brother in childhood and was considered by his friends as a weeping. No one believed he could survive the heavy training of a Rider. He moved with his brother and went to Andromeda Island, where he was trained by the mighty Albion of Cepheus. Contrary to everyone's expectations, Shun returns to Japan with the Andromeda Bronze Armor. If he demonstrates a skilled Knight by beating his opponents in the Galactic War, but his weak point is his compassion, which makes him fear to hurt other people. It hides a great power not to hurt anyone and uses the Chain of Andromeda to diminish its force. He is very cautious in combat, being more strategic and prefers the defense to analyze his opponent. He is terribly attacked by his brother, when he returns from the Island of the Queen of Death completely dominated by hatred. Facing Ikki and the Black Knights, he overcomes the pain of losing his brother, who returns to life to help them. Fight the Silver Knights and catch incredible battles with Saga and Aphrodite. She remains faithful to Athena during the attacks of Hilda and Poseidon. Finally it is revealed that he is the reincarnation of Hades, or rather the emperor's receptacle. After being freed from the spirit of Hades by the blood of Athena, Shun accompanied his friends in the final battle against Hades.
