Powers: Arnold is extremely strong, able to rip a regular Furson in half, punch his own handholds in concrete and crumple a car's boot. His hide is tough enough to shrug off small firearms and on one occasion, he bit a shotgun in half.

Fighting Styles: Although he prefers blasting everything that even remotely looks like an enemy, Arnold enjoys getting to crush his enemies physically. He is highly skilled in Sumo wrestling and Boxing.

Bio: Born in new Orleans in a poor family, Arnold long relied on his strength to get what he needed. As a teenager, he dropped out of high school to support his ill mother. He also befriended a ferret named Joe, who was much smaller but far more intelligent than Arnold. Arnold protected the Ferret from local bullies, and in return, Joe provided him with equipment to help his mum. After Arnold's mother eventually died, the young turtle was left homeless when a hurricane later leveled his home. Arnold and Joe left New Orleans as goons for hire. They came successful when Joe begun selling his highly advanced, hand-made weapons on the black market. Always big and muscular, Arnold became his bodyguard.

It was Arnold pointing out eventually pointed out, in his own crude way, that Joe and he were wasting their talents as smalltime. Donning specially made power armor made by Joe, Arnold took the codename shellshock and became the Ferret's partner in crime. The two of them became mercenaries, lending their help to anyone who paid them. However, Arnold and Joe followed two simple rules. They never harm innocent people and kill anyone who does. Between Joe's intelligence and Arnold's love of fighting, the two had an unbroken record of success and were able to train and arm others to join them. It was around this time that Arnold was witness to Joe to falling in love with a female Ferret named Abby.

Arnold instantly took a liking to Abby and easily befriended her. later, he was chosen by Joe to be best man at his and Abby's wedding. When Abby later announced she was pregnant, Arnold was ecstatic and their first choice of godfather for the coming child. With the infant on the way, Arnold helped Gears put together a final plan to retire from the merc business by terminating their contracts. At the time, one of their most frequent employers was a Media Mogul Chance Stone, an Anteater known for being... Suspicious, who would often hire them to move stuff for him or get lucrative information on his rivals. They planned on exposing his illegal acts after he demanded they kill a politician.

Finding no evidence of the intended target needing to die, the armored mercenaries instantly refused Chance's demand and left, ignoring Chance's bribes and what they assumed were his empty threats. With their final preparations made, Arnold was there to witness Joe suddenly getting a panicked call from his wife that someone had broken into the house. Arnold was the first of group to arrive at the burnt down home, and comforted Joeseph over the death of his wife. It was Arnold who found out Chance was responsible. Desperate for revenge, the two armored mercenaries went after Chance, battering their way through his private army and devastating his estate. Arnold came within a hair's breadth of killing Chance, but the arrival of numerous BOS agents complicated things. Arnold's strength, skill in battle and his deadly weapons made him a great challenge and he fought ferociously but was eventually defeated. He was imprisoned with Joseph, and hearing that no evidence was found against Chance added fuel to the fire.

They were only incarcerated for a few days before they were visited by a tall, saturnine gentlefur, an incredibly wealthy Longhorn bull named Mo Loch. Lacking any filter, Arnold told Mo why he and Joseph had been imprisoned for trying to avenge a loved one. To Arnold's Suprise, Mo bailed them out and offered them employment for his company. They accepted his terms and were brought to his building, where Mo revealed his true nature as a demon, and after assuring them that he meant them no harm, greatly increased Arnold's physical size, strength and durability. Arnold kept the alias of Shellshock, and was given larger armor with bigger weapons, which he eagerly used on any enemy of the Harbingers.

Arnold is currently in Colmaton, where he helps in hunting criminals and occasionally getting into fights with the local heroes.

Personality: Arnold is often described as a "Half-witted Hillbilly", a title which isn't entirely inaccurate. Arnold isn't the sharpest knife in the draw, with a love of explosions and big weapons. Arnold is smart in weapons and fighting but not much else, either letting his allies call the shots or relying on his considerable physical abilities to see him through. Arnold loves fights and displays no fear or hesitation, regardless of the odds. Such fearlessness has resulted in many assuming he's not intelligent enough to feel scared. Despite his lack of intelligence, Arnold is a skilled mechanic and expert in explosives, having never seriously injured himself when messing with volatile weapons. In battle, Arnold is ferocious and relentless, crushing and blasting anything resembling an enemy. Out of the armor, Arnold is chatty, laidback, friendly and boisterous, willing to talk to anyone about anything that comes to him. Although he never hesitates to kill criminals and likes blowing stuff up, Arnold is always incredibly careful to avoid harming civilians with his weapons or breaking anything that he thinks is valuable.
