Born into the Highlands pride, Zuberi is the only heir to the empire of the Highlands. Instead of it being a kingdom, the Highlands is an empire established deep within the Drakensberg mountain ranges. His father isn't the emperor, but a general. His mother is the daughter of emperor Jelani, meaning "Mighty" in Swahili. He has been betrothed to Princess Alfajari of the Pridelands since her birth, he is 2 years older than she is.
