Hello. I am seeking to make contact with an artist who is interested in performing this Commission. In the interests of transparency and professionalism I will keep this as brief and blunt as possible.

It is my intention to pay you for your artistic vision of a species, I describe in my book as being called The Crew. they are a synthetic species which means that they are both machine and living creature, which is distinctly different from cyborg. to put it simply their bones are metal but they're meaty flesh parts are rubber and flexible. I describe the land-dwelling crew as being similar in appearance to ancient Earth dinosaurs, and the Aquatic crew as being similar to that of sharks. of course any individual crew could be an exemption to this rule so artist Liberty does apply to some degree.
Their faces are described in my book as some of them containing smooth surface screen like faces which project their eyes and emotions while their mouth is down below that screen however there are also crew with fully mechanical eyeballs and emotes as well as others with more flexible face structures it'll be up to your artist interpretation which of these methods you would like to use.

(((What exactly am I making here?))) I would like to receive an art piece containing all three variants of the crew. this includes one that walks on two legs, one that walks on four legs, and seems to be more purpose-built, and an aquatic crew. whether or not they have legs is up to you. I would like you to place them organically in an environment, either with splits in the piece, as I have done here to show them in separate environments, or they may be organically interacting with one another. The book describes the crew as being the natural replacements for the mechanized maintenance robots and service robots of the ship so it is likely they will be an environment of Industry.

The crew are a synthetic species.

As some of the machines on the spaceship Pangea, begin to show signs of sentiency they seek to create themselves better Hardware to match their sophisticated software this has manifested itself in the forms of a fully synthetic species capable of reproduction.
As they are the evolved variant of the fully autonomous mechanized ship crew they have adopted the species name crew to describe their Origins and identify themselves as a species.

Species description the crew can be sorted into three main categories.

Category 1 biped crew: these individuals are expected to operate in areas where people are frequent and are also expected to interact with people on a daily basis. Each one possesses gravity plates in the soles of their feet for attaching to the floor in a low gravity environment this also assists them in daily tasks.

Category 2 quadruped crew: these individuals are likely involved in harder labor and are not expected to interact with individual humans on a daily basis therefore can be more specialized for the hauling of materials. Each one possesses gravity plates in the soles of their feet for attaching to the floor in a low gravity environment this also assists them in daily tasks.

Category 3 aquatic crew: These individuals perform maintenance duties which could involve them being submerged in water or oil and are not expected to interact with any humans within their operational lifetimes. Aquatic crew possess gravity plates in their hands tails and fins however their gravity plates are inverted producing negative gravity as a source of propulsion this is how they swim at high speed.

(((Please note))) any individual crew will be an exemption to these categories. as the crew are sentient living beings capable of modifying their own bodies. for example an aquatic crew could easily have their body modified to contain legs so that they may walk on land. or a quadruped could acquire new components to specifically cater to interacting with human customers, such as that of a mobile food vendor on their back.

Please keep in mind I am much more interested in an artist who is confident in their ability to produce this piece the way they see it. I am less interested in someone who is confident in their ability to produce a piece as I have described. To put that into simple terms I would rather hire a worse artist who feels like this is the sort of commission they want to do then a great artist who is just fulfilling my every whim and order. When we are done negotiating and you know exactly what sort of piece you intend on making, and you give me the price at what you expect to be reimbursed for your labor. I will ask you if you have time to work on this piece. please be honest with me if we have to reschedule a moment in which you will receive payment before working, that is perfectly fine with me. I have had bad experiences in the past with commissions and cannot afford delays.

In the event you're stopped from completing the piece due to emergency, or sudden emotional instability, or what have you, (I'm an artist too we know how this works). simply refund me my money communicate to me what's going on, and as soon as you are ready to finish the piece. I will happily pay for you to finish the piece. if you are unable to continue working on the piece then we shall go our separate ways and there shall be no hard feelings.

When you are finally done with the art piece. I would like a second image that is the same size as the first image. however you will shrink the first image down within it against a black background. then you will move it up and to the left, using the available space to write down what you think about the peace the characters in it or maybe how you conceived of it, as well as your contact information. it is my intention to use this second image to credit your work on YouTube.
