One of my oldest characters, Wint. He appears in a story I'm having commissioned.
Wint Hawkins
Age: Early 20s
Height: 5' 8"
Build: Fairly athletic and lean.
Eye color: Heterochromatic blue
Black hair, dark skin tone
Heritage: Tribal
Marital status: single
Sexuality: Bisexual (female preference)
Often seen with either face paint or a handmade wooden or metal tribal mask.
Personality: Eccentric and curious, but quiet and sometimes aloof. Seemingly indifferent to the various atrocities and hardship that's around him.
Bio:
Born to 1st generation tribal parents who migrated off-island, Wint was raised by family friends in a small town. Wint's eccentricities were evident from an early age, and he earned a reputation of being an oddball. As a result, he grew up spending much time by himself.
Spending summers living with his tribe on their island, he fit in more naturally, making friends. Being the nephew of a high-ranking tribesman, he often took an active role in the tribe's ceremonies as a teenager, and soon had a reputation with the girls, leading in turn to more ceremonial roles.
When society collapsed at the age of 18, Wint relocated with his family to a settlement a few miles outside of a former city. Wint managed the best he could in the difficult conditions, hunting, scouting, trading, repairing equipment for the community.
A few years into his 20's, growing weary of the scavenger lifestyle, Wint returns to his tribe. Slowly reacquainting himself with old friends and elders, Wint eventually finds himself a new place in their culture as a priest.
Other notes on Wint and his appearance:
When outside the tribe, Wint usually wears an ankh necklace.
Often would paint his face as a skull while off the island, typically as a sardonic nod to the ruins around him.
His instrument in his tribe's music is the bamboo drone flute.
He was considered special within the tribe because of his unusual eye coloration.
Is popular with girls and used to be fairly promiscuous.
