Description

After finding my way of drawing him I was really getting into drawing him in movement. And man, reading those old ditko issues is wonderful seeing him contort in bizarre angles, jump around like a human pin ball, and just soaking in the fluid movements he gave spidey. It's why it was important to me to capture that spirit i felt that the best spider-man artists put into the work when he's swinging.

The other very fun thing was getting to draw that McFarlane spaghetti webbing. I never really liked how i'd draw it in the past and had finally sorta got it when i recalled how he described drawing it. Several strands clumped together like a rope with several strands swirling around it forming knots in parts. The idea being that the webbing should look like its spontaneously creating in air.

Eventually I'd get the hang of drawing spidey the more times i'd draw him.
