Description
Turbo made an appearance in part 1 of the Ultra Woman story, "Time for a Kill." He along with Artemis was dispatched to the fallen Ultra Woman (Erena) when her distress signal was activated by a weak heartbeat and pulse. He was still in the planning stages. Turbo came about because the Pantheon, The DB Universe of the Justice League and Marvel's Avengers, needed a speedster. But I wanted a different type of speedster. I discounted Wonder Woman and Shazam who are speedsters but are empowered by the gods and the entire Superman family as they are speedsters due to alien physiology, and Iron Man who is a speedster but through Hi-Tech. I stuck with just the classic speedsters, Flash, Godspeed, Impulse, Quicksilver and Impulse. And I deconstructed the archetype.

I came up with Jason Reed. Jason is basically the original Peter Parker / Barry Allen character. Jason is 19-year-old college student. He is, by all accounts, a nerd. Jason loves video games, his phone, his computers and is a mathematics guy with a love of physics. He is also bumbling, says stupid stuff at the wrong time and has the attention span of a housefly. He also suffers from ADHD. He is a Nex-Gen (Next Generation Human), the DB version of a Meta-Human / Mutant. But his speed powers are different. His speed is an illusion. He is really a teleporter. He just teleports at a hyper velocity. He has traveled across the United States round trip from New York to Los Angeles in less than a second, and from London to Rome round trip all by teleportation.

Powers and Abilities:

1. Hyper-speed Teleportation
His teleportation abilities are limited to line of sight. Jason must be able to see his end location. He is able to teleport faster than the speed of light. Through multiple teleportations Jason has the ability to teleport great distances in the blink of an eye.

2. Spatial Distortion and Manipulation
Jason's teleportaion abilities work by distorting space and time and folding time and space. Theoretically he is able to teleport to the farthest points of the universe and by bending time he can even teleport backwards in time and forward in time.

3. Space and Time Manipulation
Jason can create small pockets of time and/or space and thus create wormholes in space and time.

4. Electro-Kinesis
Activating his powers creates a massive static energy charge which he can manipulate and discharge and fire lightning from his hands

5. Thermo-Kinesis
Jason's ability to teleport at hyper-speeds creates small to massive heat surges from the friction of his molecules moving so fast. He is able to use the heat as a defensive shield.

6. Invisibility
Jason is able to hold his teleportation at a pause and due to his molecules moving so fast, he can be an in invisible state.

Jason is not and has never been athletically inclined. He is not mechanically inclined. He is not a playboy by any stretch if the imagination. Jason is not the life of the party and the last person anyone would ever think of hanging out with on a Saturday night. Jason has ADHD and in school he was usually the butt of his classmates' jokes. Jason plays violin to help his concentration. Jason is also a Nex-Gen. He has been one since the age of eight when he started to display certain talents.

Out of fear of community reprisal and some government interference, Jasons parents, Anna, homemaker, and Gerald aka Jerry, a doctor, worked hard trying to suppress young Jason's talents, his ability to teleport small distances. As Jason grew, his powers grew in proportion to his age. In college, in a digital world where nothing is kept secret too long, the Pantheon's Erena Primrose aka Ultra Woman, Alejandro Marquez aka Night Crawler, and Courtney O'Bryant aka Artemis came knocking on his door. The Pantheon has taught Jason to control his powers and to continue to unveil them and to form and make him a productive of the team.
