This is just my attempt at placing a picture from garry's mod into a non-gmod picture.

By placing my guy here in front of a green background, I attempted to place him in this picture by removing the green area of the picture.

It worked, but it turned him purple for some reason. I don't know. I still think it turned out okay.

The context for this test picture is Director Kessler here warning of consequences of inter-dimensional experiments, reminding of what happened when the power to tear holes in the fabric of reality fell into the wrong hands.

The picture (which is New York City) was done by who had exactly what I was looking for when I wanted a destroyed city (but not so destroyed that it could not be repaired once the crisis passed).
