Hi, just practicing again with different method and going a little bit further in finishing. I'm still not happy with the overall results, I need to practice more mech designs, that was always my problem.Deatils:
- Photoshop CS4
- 4600px
- Custom Brushes
- Custom Textures
- Crazy perspective grid

Love seeing your work, and skills broader and deepen in different directions/techniques.
I think the mechs look fine, because the overall flow of the image is softer, very painterly, less grittier-textured (think layers of rust and metals texture brushes)
-the only area I would like to see engage the eye[my personal preference]
a little more is the sky/atmosphere.
Its feels a little nebulous, and overly blurred, -not a bad thing at all.... please don't that that as a complaint,
but rather, I think your image would be very powerful/visually arresting with painterly version of HDR image of clouds, maybe wisps across stars.

And the strange thing is that you said you liked the colours... and that's weird because I am actually a big colour-blind, I always struggle with colours, so thanks for this! it's good you feel your colour-blind, that makes you evoluate more and more without noticind how good you are. and don;t worry about the english, i am from romania and i struggle with that too. I'm at highschool, and i want to really really prepare to enter the via university in denmark(viborg) at the animation workshop, and i need some tips for the digital painting and the composition, i don't have so much friends that cand help me, so i've seen your work and how friendly you are and that's why i asked you this favor :-s, so can you give me an id or something to talk more easily (sorry i'm being so direct)

Me lembrei de Metal Gear com essa. Provavelmente jΓ‘ fez isso, mas estudando montagem de aviΓ΅es e pegando alguns livros de engenharia mecΓ’nica fica mais fΓ‘cil de ver as coisas sendo montadas enquanto vc desenha.
