One of the things that immediately strikes me about the Deviant Art community is the sheer variety of work... everyone here comes from a different background and I think that you can learn a lot about a person through their photographs or artwork.Some people can take beautiful photos of abstract things, like shopping carts or street lights, etc... I have never had a great eye for that. Everybody sees different things: that's the essence of art, in my opinion. I think that you photograph or draw what you see and what you feel.
I was raised by wonderful parents who supported me and still support me in all of my endeavors... I have nothing but gratefulness for life and all of the things my parents struggled to provide for myself and my brothers.
I like this photo because it reminds me of my mom and my little brother, Kenny.

I love the two sides of this. Youth and Age. her face is so beautiful even with the freckles and age lines. It shows how far we have come from being a soft skinned baby. The tonality in this is just perfect.
