I had no idea how I was going to tackle Tecna because I actually like Tecna's original design quite a lot. Unpopular opinion, but I don't particularly like the original designs of most of the Winx Club and never have. The Y2K style they went with left the designs incredibly simplistic and samey in a lot of ways. I like the color pallets, I don't like how most of the silhouettes are nearly identical. And tbh, I was never a huge fan of Y2K style in general.

With the exception of Tecna. She is the ONLY Winx Club member who I thought suited the Y2K look because of her technology powers. The minimalism of the style suited her futuristic look. So I was at a bit of a loss on where to bring this design since I think Tecna's original design is already pretty good (and her cannon design is nearly identical to the concept designs, so not much to draw on there). So I ended up shifting the direction into a slightly more cyber-punk style. I think it worked well, I really liked how this turned out! and the glitch background is definitely the most interesting one I've done so far for these. This one might end up being my favorite.
