I have always loved the myth of the World Turtle, and I figured that the Tree of Knowledge would reside on the back of one, turtles being old sages and all.Deviantart makes the colors all off- that background is a deep dark purple.

I love the detail on the turtle! The stylization of the tree is great, and I wish I could see the colors of this piece properly. I can see some texture, though - so lovely!
