WIP BIO

Sunfeather Swift, a griffin born in the Feathisian city of De Vleugels, and into the lower nobility of the Griffonian Empire, was as curious as she was curious. As the fourthborn daughter of Baron Solblazen Swift III, she was destined to never see political power in her native griffonia, and thus never concerned herself with griffonian politics, and lost herself within books and learning. While she would never see the baron's coronet, her father never sought to stifle her growth, and indulged and nutured the promise of her Swift mind.

The empire in which Sunfeather lived existed in a state of decline, and the Swift family could see the writing on the wall. While still just a fledgling, Sunfeather's family abandoned the flailing First Empire, to join the nobility of Equestria, pledgling their loyalty to Princess Celestia. In these new conditions, Sunfeather flourished, and grew ever more interested in the magic of unicorns, and set about studying it, and eventually, desiring to emulate it.

With this self-appointed quest, Sunfeather descended into yet further study, and as she grew into adulthood, took wing to experience the world and further her learning, until she discovered what she had always dreamed for: The Machina Academy for Magic, and the opportunity to learn magic for herself.
Sunfeather studied in the acdemy for 8 years, using a diamond bracelet to channel her inner magic, and fell in love with the Academy. Upon graduating, she sought to remain nonetheless, and in doing so, chose to take up her old love of books, and became their guardian and keeper, as the Academy's librarian.
