I, Neptune, King of the SeaLook on and on
For all the troubles be
Within my own brewing
And within my own stirring.
The ocean currents
Bend to my command.
The whales bellow to me,
I speak to them softly.
Man blames their tides
On fate and I.
I give a kiss of life
To every white stallion
That I may ride in on,
A wave of curiosity.
And mankind looks on
And mankind looks on
To my bashful, serene
Beautiful sea.
Trident in hand
And I call on the clams
And the clams call on me.
I ride endlessly.
