I don't know how to explain,But I've found happiness.
I know who I am,
And it doesn't scare me anymore.
I'm ready for all of it.
The world cannot hurt me.
It seems like everything's changing
For the better.
Our generation is making tidal waves
Against the stubborn people
Who want to keep everything the same
As how it was when they were our age.
Well, I've got news for those people:
Times
Are
Changing.
And everything else has a right to change with it.
There's something going on in the world
That makes me feel okay to be
Who I am today.
There's no punishment
For dancing in the rain.
There's no law to say
Don't step outside the box.
There's no rules to tell me
I can't be who I want to be.
We are the dreamers of dreams,
The speakers of hope,
The leftover wisdom,
The embodiment of peace.
Our people are the ones
Who will not be afraid to stand up
And say what is not okay.
Acceptance overrules,
Neutrality overcomes,
Peace and love will reign.
