Description
Wine Casks from the Meiji Era, Tokyo. The emperor imported wines from all over europe for parties, religious ceremonies, and other events. These casks date from 1875-1903. Other areas of the temple had casks dating as recent as 1918, when Emperor Hirohito closed the Islands off from outside influences.Taken in May, 2015, on a Samsung Galaxy S3.
