So this is the beginning of the bird statue seen in Giant Palace. I'm a little confused on trying to figure out how I'm going to make the head but I'll get it figured out eventually. Also I'll learn how to add textures soon enough too.

also a side note, While I'm trying to get things to match the original and make the details looks good, I'm not going for accuracy anymore because it's getting me nowhere. Instead I'm going to have a bit more fun with this and not worry too much about looks. . . yet.
