Description
Here is the completed 3D model of the Courage Emblem! Well, I definitely learned quite a bit from making the mesh model of this. What I learned:
1.) It helps to have only two ending vertices when making flat meshes into rounded objects.
2.) Sub Division is not always the answer. It creates more vertices which means more work and an uglier model. I went through this one emblem about four times until I finally got a rounded shape that wasn't rough all over.
3.) Extruding a single vertice several times is the way to go for making complicated flat shapes. This shape cannot be achieved through boxes and flat planes. I started off outlining this by making a flat mesh model, then I added vertices to the middle and pushed them out.
4.) Don't think "this thing is never going to get done" or "How the heck?" Negativity ruins the train of thought very easily.

btw, this is my 2 year project (13 months left). I'm hoping to have at least part 1 out in four or five months.
