Description ---Continued from "Tragedy on Thanksgiving Day"

The fire burned down my aunt Nancy's house until nothing was left but the charred remains of random possessions.

Firefighter: Now, is there anything in your house that is in a Firebox that you want us to pull out for you?

Anthony: Nope. My mom isn't the most prepared person in the world. . .

Firefighter: That's too bad. Most people have their documents and sentimentally valued things in a firebox. . .

My dad and I were thinking about what the firefighter told my cousin Anthony and we decided to get fireboxes for all the rooms in our house.

Dad: Alright, we're going to get fireboxes for the house and one is going to go into your room. I want you to put whatever you want to protect into that box so that if anything ever happens, you wont lose everything.

Me: Um. . .okay

We bought fireboxes and later that day, I took it downstairs to my room and looked around. In my room, All I really have are video games and computer stuff. Everything else is packed away in a storage unit off on the other side of town.

Specifically in the box:

all my video games (at least 80)

digital media storage cards

750mb portable hard drive (Stored at night only)

memory cards. . .

I can freely take video games and things out of the box so it's not a problem. By now your thinking, couldn't you put more important things in there? the answer is not really because I actually don't have much else to put in there. My important documents are in the document fireproof box. All the other expensive things can't fit in a box (unless I bought a really large box) and everything else I have are cheap, easy to replace things which I also don't really use anymore. lol
