Jak Skillman is Field agent of Mercs-4-less mercenary league. When Jak was still human, he was from a rich family whose was rejected and kicked out of the family, by his father the head of the family because he couldn't stand his son crying for the loss of his mother. At the age of 17, Jak returned and took revenge by killing his father, but died from the injuries he received in the fight. After going to Hell, he heard about Satan's army and enlisted, and within three years rose rapidly in to Eight Sinfull General. However, Satan eventually betrayed him because he had enough of Jak's constant failures and because he lose to Dante. Sometime later, Jak eventually approached by Saw, who tells him that he forgives Jak for damaging his home, but he is still visibly enraged that Jak had injured his 'family', making it clear that he would never forgive him for it. Saw then offers Jak membership into Mercs-4-less to help guide him down the right path. Moved by Saw's mercy and compassion, Jak accepts his offer. At first, Jak was quite cold and apathetic, not hesitating to injure his own allies if irritated. But time in Mercs-4-less has made him wise, serious, brave, fair and caring. He has a strong rivalry with Dante as he always tries to beat him in a fight and never gives up. Despite Jak finding his other companions repulsive due to his constant annoyance at their presence, Jak has grown attached to them and gets angry if someone hurts them. At first the Others weren't happy about Jak joining, but they start to like Him too.
