Yes, I suppose. I was actually sort of hoping for Shepard - if cards and dialogue were played right - to say a similar line. Maybe something about meeting death as an old friend.

I don't know, but I get subtle (or not so subtle) Death Seeker vibes from him in the last chapters of the story. And a little before that too.

yeah i know! da2 had such potential ;c i loved the fact the warden was voiced and the combat was nice too but the story...egh.. Yeah i guess synthesis would be allright if the ends are really the ends.but if indoctrination is true then syntesis/control are wrong choices entirely. Since then they take control of shepard (and which some pointed out, when you get those endings before he 'dies' he kind of looks like a husk?)

I always thought that it was revealing just how synthetic he truly was after Cerberus got their indoctrinated hands on him...
Synthesis is theoritically sound, but I wouldn't take it unless there was a third party offering it. Not the Catalsyt/Reapers or Cerberus, but maybe the option was hidden in the Cruicible Data or something like that.
I don't trust that space-child-AI thing... if anyone else offered it and had a near positive guarentee of sucess, I would take it.

Yeah, he's somewhat of a combined lifeform?which wou ld explain synthesis but yeah, if someone else had offered it, as a way around the two endings then i would accept it, like screw you reapers i aint taking your deals..but This..I dont know, the child is yeah, untrustworthy

No, it's just that he accepts defeat so readily. I don't trust that. He'd be trying to barter or bargain for his existance. Even an 'Omnipetent' AI would have a self-preservation function.

yeah my thoughts exactly! which supports the indoctrination theory since when you are 'dreaming' you dont question your 'reality'... while in normal time shepard would question everything the AI would say and try to figure a conclusion on his own not pick something an AI told him =s
