He is lex's Gallade that lex raise from a Ralts. during an attack by an evil man using mega evolution as a weapon cause blade and others to go crazy and attack lex but their bond broke the machine and everyone was freed.

But Blade was distraught as he hurt lex the one who saves him from poachers, who raise and train him. due to Blade 's code of honor, he took one of lex's blades and slit his one of his eyes as a way to repent.

Later Lex gives Blade one of his eyes which to Blade was a great honor.
