Thanks XD I actually started this almost a year ago, colored a little bit, and then let it sit untouched in my sketchbook for months and months. i finally decided that it absolutely needed to be done, so I just picked it up again recently and did it in little incriments of my spare time.

There's something both peaceful & violent about this piece; the relaxed position & carefree expression of the subject as opposed to the sharp spiky-ness happening all over.

Thank you very much! I was going for a huge contrast. I also wanted it to be different from a lot of contrasting pieces you see nowadays, like the fire and water, light and dark, good and evil. I wanted it to be more of a feeling to confuse the senses, and yet make perfect sense, because the lines of anything are really not distinct, so how could you reflect it in two complete opposites?
