I love the massive amounts of divesity here. Seems like it should be chaotic and hectic, but it all kinda makes sense (for some reason) I appreciate the cifferent clothing styles, I always make my people look the same genre (But I'm lame)

i know you've probably been asked a bajillion times, but what pens do you use, and how do you get yellow? to date, i've never seen a yellow ballpoint...

and yes...i too could sit and stare for hours...well at least until your next fantasmagorical (hehe i love that word) deviation comes along so i can sit and stare at that for hours too

Thanks^^ Sometimes i don't know where the ideas come from. I think at some point I saw a picture from a lantern festival or something, and that's what probably influenced the many stoplights...I have a thing for stoplights...and the giraffes were from the fact that i thought it would be awesome to have a tiny pet giraffe, and then i started drawing them all over everything and was like 'I should put these somewhere...'

While I know it's not Friday and I realise you usually don't reply to comments, I feel like I must ask as a long-time watcher and admirer:
Do you have some sort of rough sketch you lay out? How did you learn the perspective you use in your arts? Do you draw a grid of some sort? How long does it usually take to accomplish something like this?
I know that was more than one question, but those have ben bugging me for a long time now. As always, I love your work and all that jazz.

For a lot of my pictures, I usually do a doodle or a rough sketch. For this picture, when i did the doole, it was pretty much that guy and the lights. Everything else came by itself when i started doign the good version. I actually was taught how to do perspective in middle school. We had to do 1 and 2 point perspective on a peice of paper, and I actually failed the assignment XD I was the only one to fail, but since I did, the teacher changed the grading scale so I would get a C. Then when i was in ninth grade, I was taught how to do it by another art teacher and just like exploded with all kinds of crazy drawn building and stuff. I've tried to teach it to a few friends, but no one else seems to understand it
