Description My Ring fanart. I used little bits of paper cut from time magazines and glued them onto a bigger sheet of paper. Originally I was going to do a painting and then decided it wouldn't have the same effect. So I spent three days locked in my room and came up with this.

Some of the textures remind me of what stuff looks like underwater.Or with goggles full of water...

Wow! That's really detailed for a mosaic-like picture! You even put a scene from the video on the television screen!

This is one of the coolest fucking things I've ever seen on this site. I can't imagine the patience involved in doing this. How many magazines did you go through? What did you use to cut them out and glue them down?

Thankees! I think I had like...10 or 12 magazines...but I didn't really use alot of the pages. I had to find specific colors and textures, not to mention the massive search for double sided white and wood textures(which i didn't really find alot of so there's actually really weird things in there, like hannible lector's face ^^ and hair too i think). i just used regular scissors to cut out the sizes i needed of the paper. To glue them down, I used a mix of elmer's glue diluted with water and a small paintbrush to apply the glue where i needed it. Even after I glued pieces down i had to paint a layer of glue over the pic so it would be smooth and sturdy.

Awesome. Looks very tight, and I don't see any mess at all- I don't know if that's what it looks like in real life but for the presentation here it looks very clean, tight, and interesting. Awesome job.

Nice job. That has to be one of the most intricate pieces I've seen made with that method.

You have a lot more stamina than I'll ever have. I'd have given up after five minutes of cutting.
