The year of 1978 was a year in history most people would like to forget. With the ongoing Cold War and the Vietnam War still fresh in people’s minds it was a year of increasing violence and paranoia. But war was not the only thing dwelling in the hearts of men, increasing reports of boogie men, ghouls and satanic cults were on the rise and people began to find the world around them crashing down. Tokyo was in even dire panic. Citizens (children mostly) had begun to report an increase in kaiju sightings, giant reptilian creatures and hellish monstrosities had began to be seen around the city, but just as mysteriously as they appeared they would vanish as if never their.

Godzilla seemed to be at the heart of the matter, as he would burst out of the ocean in a maddened rage destroying everything in his path to get to these anomalies. Japan had been attacked by Godzilla before but never in such a manner as these, lashing at buildings and firing blasts of atomic rays at random objects his path of destruction was chaotic and with little remorse. Godzilla was not the only kaiju in disarray the monsters of the world began their own maddened rampages across the planet and it appeared that nothing could stop them.

The destruction of Earth seemed immanent and the world had no yet realized that Satan himself was responsible. The lord of chaos and evil had not been blind to these beings known as kaiju and indeed Godzilla himself seemed to impress him. The monster had laid waste to many cities and wished for the monsters destructive power as his own. It was not only his power that Lucifer had noticed. Their was something about the beast that was unnatural almost otherworldly that drew him toward the beast. Lucifer put his master plan in order, in order to control the monster he would need to be weakened both mind and body, and the demon king had sent the various apparitions to drive him mad. With this done the Devil appeared to Godzilla and began to take over his weakened soul.

Godzilla however would not be defeated so easily…………

Refusing to be controlled in such a way, Godzilla, in a sheer act of defiance, pushed the very demon from his essence. Unfortunately Satan was not yet finished with the King of the Monsters; if Satan could not use Godzilla then he would see him destroyed. Using Godzilla’s own flesh and his own demonic soul, Satan created a beast of pure rage and malice to kill his “father”. And Godzilla, exhausted from reverting from Lucifer’s form would have to find a way to defeat such a foe so like himself.

- Vast illusionary capabilities
