Either the girl is in trouble or the dark menacing figures are, but either way this is gonna end badly for somebody. ...Aside from the audience that is, because this is a beautiful picture.

Awesome Composition, while the lighting may not be complex it's very successful at focusing the image. I actually appreciate the complex narrative more than anything else, I can't quite tell if there is a conflict here or reverence, and it really draws me in. I want to know much more about these characters.

Technically I think the lighting is still off considering I don't really know where the light source is coming from. If its coming at her from the side facing us, then wouldnt the priest in the background have some lighting on him at well?Β
Who cares though. This is an awesome painting. I really love the style a lot, and just how simple yet detailed it is. A great balance and wonderful story here.Β
