A scientist discovered his wife was murdered one day. Unable to cope with her death, he made a clone of her. That clone was Cricket.
One day the scientist's son shot her in the back of the head. However, she didn't die. Instead, she persists with a hole in the back of her head and a growing fear of the scientist's son.
All she really wants to do is make everyone, including herself, happy. However, with the position that she's in, that feat is hard to accomplish. Constantly being compared or associated with her original, it will be difficult for her to accept her own identity. Will she ever? Who knows.
