Description
Zephyr had always though he was a reasonably good swimmer, and when he reached the river to cross, he had scoffed and begun wading in. The river bed dropped sharply away and he lost his footing, caught in the rapid sweep of the water. He kept himself afloat fairly easily, but couldn’t paddle to the shore, or fight against the currents.
Over the falls he went, maybe next time he wouldn’t be so sure of his abilities - lesson learned.
