Description The sky, amber and light,
Prepares itself for the dark,
The sun, he sits behind two hills,
And closes his eyes for the night.

The trees and the birds within,
Will miss their friend very dearly,
For they, blind, sit still in the night,
And tempt not to any sin.

Any human luminescence goes black,
Not a single fabrication left,
It's all consumed by a raging fire,
In the forest's panic for the sun to come back.

By the time the sun is ready to rise,
All that we have done tonight,
Will be put in the distant past,
So let's burn what we can as the fire dies.

The leaves and the branches too,
Forget the sun's iris gaze,
They wither and expect an eternal night,
But carry on, as they normally do.

The birds pretend the morning after,
As if there was no catastrophe.
They carry on with their daily lives,
You can hear them sing with laughter.

Even though the sun is gone,
Even though it's dark,
Even after this sunset,
Though the night is long, there'll always be a dawn.
