I know I haven't posted in a while. Not only has July been super busy for me, but I have been going through an artistic block the past couple of months. I've been co-writing a book with a friend of mine for the past 6-7 years and I thought it was going well. We spent so much time into writing, planning, everything. I loved this story. But out of the blue she just decided to delete EVERYTHING we've written all because, and I quote, "I don't need this story anymore. Delete everything." I managed to save some of the writing, but she managed to delete everything as I tried to save it. Years of passion and dedication just thrown out the window. What about me? What if I wanted to continue it? What about all of the effort I put into this? She says that she doesn't need it, but that's not why we were writing it. So now, because I loved this story so much, I have to completely start over. So frustrating! Regardless, it completely took away my artistic creativity for along time. I just couldn't put my creativity into anything else.

But during my last vacation, it was sparked again. I blame the beautiful Washington nature, because man... Washington forest and seascape is beautiful. So I started off with painting my Washington friend's dog. And since my friend also loves cappuccinos, I painted the cup as well.
Here's to hoping my artistic needs have returned!
