The hurts too fresh too fierce to find the words
To filet the feelings fingering your tear ducts
And forcing fear down your throat

You're sitting begging waiting for that shining moment
Where you step in your own hero

The moment is not here
That storm is building
There was no calm before it
In it or behind

Bursting beating Breaking!
Your mind
And you're bleeding on the inside

Your death feels far off
The storm won't let you go

And even as you're crying feeling calm

Sink or swim!
but if you're trapped in ice can you do either?

And I'm struggling to breathe

Chin tucked down
And saddled up in filth and mess
Once clean domain rendered useless
Your dogs avoid your slinking shadow
