If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
Don’t seem to apply to people
None too good
Don’t ask me why

People are clumsy
Break them selves up good
Trying to fix things right
And when broken people
See other broken people
They get good and together
Thick as thieves
To fix it
Fix them
Fix the other person

Well it don’t work

Seems as putting little bitty pieces
Of something awful
Inside of something good
Won’t make everything be put back
The way it’s supposed to

But they do it
And then cuss and holler and cry
When it don’t turn out right
Anybody else lookin’ in
Would think well now
That ain’t gonna work
But never it stops them

So here’s my bit of advice
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
And if it is
Don’t take fixin’ advice from broken people
