So they say
Well if I were to disagree
I'd look whiny or aggressive
Or be seen as an activist
Protester, rebell, renegade

And while I like the sound
Of some of those names
I will disagree anyway
But not to be defined
To make a point

English is particular
In the phrasing that we use
Always has been and boy
Do old habits die hard

But we should say
It is a Man's world
See there? The singular plural
all of us, that is
Human's world

Then again tho
I find even that statement
A bit pretentious
So here's what I will say
Bare bones, no blood

This world belongs to Us
We should be figuring who that is
Instead of trying to find
A Them
