Description

A star destroyer returns home from its patrol in the Outer Rim to be re-equipped in the local main base.

The base itself is a mix of a shipyard within the sphere and two smaller main stations with production facilities for mass production of TIEs and housing all personnel and troops equipping the docked ships after they leave the shipyard.

The yard is somewhat inspired by the superstructure on the KDY with its Dyson Sphere, only smaller. I think of the black rings as some sort of high-efficiency solar panels like on the TIEs. In the center are structures and buildings that hold cargo, raw materials and equipment, but also provide homes for the shipyard workers.
