Description
The design of the mark 3 was actually chosen as it gave the drone a rather deceptive build. The center eye-like component is actually one of the hardest parts of it's body and only gives its target a false sense of superiority as it actually views through the large amount of sensors on its body.
This is for redundancy and constant field detection to prevent it from being snuck up on or falling for a simplistic trick that exploits weaknesses in its VI, but also slows it down in situations with greater number of foes. In this case multiple drones can connect to support one another or they can be boosted by aid of a magically inclined creature with the right spells.
