LeiTao found her when he was very young. She was injured and he nursed her back to health. At first she left him, but kept returning once a season. After around 200 years, she decided to stay with him when he got sick and it was her turn to nurse him back to health. They've been almost entirely inseperable since. They trust each other entirely and seem to know what the other is thinking because of how close they are. They can tell when the other is happy, angry, sad or distressed
