I can see you fly, so very high.
You look so free up there in the sky.
Like no one could keep you on the ground.

There you were, that one rainy day.
Trying your hardest not to get hit by raindrops...
but you did not succeed.
With one big raindrop to your wings,
you can down...
all the way down.

I caught you in my hands.
I looked at you.
You looked at me.
I felt bad so I dried off your wings.
You started to jumped off, when I grabbed
your wings and pulled them off.

With one scream of anguish and pain
You came tumbling back into my hand.
You laid there twitching in pain
Crying; holding onto the places your wings use to be.

Then I put you on a branch where there was a fairy's nest
Made just for you!
You looked around and saw many fairies nest all with a fairy
holding onto the place their wings use to be.

You never moved from the spot I put you on.
You just laid there like the others,
holding onto the places your wings use to be.
