Oy! This costume took about 8 months to create! X_X; A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this cosplay... literally! Never could've done it without tutoring from my awesome friend Shannon and help from my other friends Li and Jenni. Also support from the members of my cosplay group!Tunic took forever and cape was even longer (embroidering the seal on the back took two days and almost drove me INSANE!) The rest was pretty simple. Sword was crafted by my friend Tenten (she is WONDROUS). We're still working on that one too so it'll be more EPIC!!! Have to say it's my favorite cosplay (tied with Kakashi).

LoL yeah! I used a pair of shoes I found at the thrift store and then I used super glue, craft foam and acrylic paints. X3 It worked really well I think XD Thanks for the comment! 8D

LoL actually I wasn't able to bring Ike to Sakura-Con anyway because the sword was too large. The cape was the hardest. Had to use an iron to iron two pieces of really soft fabric together using an odd plastic interface. Then had to use bias tape on the sides, attach it to the tunic (my friend actually did that part) tatter up the bottom and then embroider the seal on the back... which was hell. ><;;;;

The sword was too large? Was there like a weird regulation or something? >_> 'Cause I remember last year I saw a sword that was like. 7 feet tall. XD
So you had to iron it for the two different colors on either side? And oh, man, you should take a picture of that embroidered part, that must've been, well. Hell! XD

I really should! The embroidery part made me want to stab kittens!!! I went crazy for two days LMAO!!! Ummm nah it was cuz we were road tripping and there was no more room in the car... ToT It was ok though I still had a blast! XD
