I've heard vague things about it, but I've never done it myself.
You can get close to him frozen?

Mh... sorry I don't know.
I only used it to get this handyman achievment

That thing is impossible to get.
Especially since I let the 1st Handyman live in Finkton proper.

Need to try it again my *yet another* playthrough.
I just can't kill a Handyman that I know I can bypass. If I have no choice, like in Emporia or in the Vox controlled Finkton area, then I try to put them down as humanely as possible (better said then done I'm afraid). But the Finkton Proper Handyman and the Hand of the Prophet Handyman, you can just run like the devil to avoid them.

So true... the worst is. You are nearly done with him, all ammo is gone. Then he kills you and Elizabeth saes you and the handyman is fully regenerated ^^

Ugh, the Vox Handyman was exactly like that. The screwball even managed to shove himself into the resurrection door when I was being revived (the second I "awoke", he slammed me back to death.)

....this is so stupid sometimes... especially if you have no ammo... darn.
Handymans are to strong. Lucky there are not sooo much
Imagine if there were Handymans on Comstocks ship at the last battle

I'd have loved it. Patriots are dicks. At least the Handymen have a brain.
Although I wish they would understand that Booker isn't there to hurt them. If the Handymen would just listen, then maybe they'd ally with him. (since Handy's have beef with Cornstalk as much as Booker and Elizabeth do.)

So damn right, I hought exactly the same
Handymans are no stupid robots. Espacially after heard this voxaphone of this wife (her husband became a handyman)
These are humans

Sam Gerst. Yeah, that's the part that nearly made me cry.
The others in Columbia don't see them as people. They see them as workers and novelties. The one at the fair was pretty obvious in his movements that he wanted to be anywhere but being poked at by crowds of people.

Sure... he was like a woman with a beard on a circus.
Poor guy.
But this is one fact of Columbia, this sham company where some (black, handymns or so) are no real persons.
Only a view see the right thing.
Handymans are a bit like Big daddies, in the first Bioshock I thought sometmes, these are brainless Robots... after Bioshock 2 I screw myself

I see them as Alpha Series with a voice. They where influenced by Big Daddy creation (Fink and his gosh darn tears >__>), but I guess he ignored the facts that it could cause suffering in the patient.
What sucks is that, even if you find a more tolerant person in Columbia, they turn into Daisy Fitzroy. You're either a Nazi (Founders) or a Satlinistic Communist (Vox Populi.)
Oddly enough I think the Handymen and Firemen may be the only two Heavy Hitters that want nothing to do with both sides. The Boys obey a monster Liz, the Siren was a one-time freak phenomenon, the patriots have no souls, the Crows are blinded by obsession and the Beasts are just suited up soldiers.
If I was in Columbia, I'd say screw it to the war and jump on whatever safety ship the Heavy Hitters are on. Hopefully a few managed to escape before the city was torn apart.

Good thought and well spoken:clpa:
Without jokes, you ae so right
Save some of the poor handymans and Fireguys.
Big daddies were criminals and sme handymans were wounded people... all guys who have no other chance... damn

GeotrixQueen In reply to Deemonef [2013-05-12 19:51:41 +0000 UTC]
Yup.
Although I feel a smidge more sympathy for the Handymen because the only thing they cared about was taking take of their families. The Big Dads, while most where incarcerated for crimes similar to the main character in Les Miserables, where criminals. Some being equal to the gang members on the surface.
Charles Milton Porter, Delta, Sinclair and Mark Meltzer are probably the only ones who you can put your foot down and say for certain " They didn't deserve this."

So did I. I was like "NO!" when I found I I had killed him.
At the very least Cindy was saved. The only thing he wanted was for her to be safe.

She's Comstock with boobs.

One walkthrough she was killed, the next she was saved.
The best treatment for Sofia though isn't death. She'll die a martyr like Fitzroy did. Better keep her alive, but strip her of all her power.
I say rip out all her vocal cords and maybe cut off her hands. That way she can never communicate and manipulate others.
Give her the Nurse Ratched treatment. > An added bonus would be to give Delta the equipment to go to town on her.

Hand her over to the Handymen and Firemen. They have a lot of experience in the fields of pain.
Or the Crows. Those guys are the Vlad the Impalers of Columbia.
