After the finale of Legend of Korra: Book 3, I had the drastic need to draw fan art, due to the untold story within the season. If the Red Lotus had succeeded in capturing Korra as a child and raised her as a weapon, she would be a drastically different bender- using the techniques afforded by the Red Lotus themselves. One by one, she would learn from her masters and then best them and end their lives, claiming their place and power within the Red Lotus, a dark twist on the ordinary Avatar journey. Finally free with the death of Zaheer, Korra lets go of the mortal coil and ascends, a flying, tentacled, lava-spouting combustion machine of death and mayhem, out to bring equality to the world in a way the Lotus intended.

Or something like that.

I'm still "new" to scenes and this proved I still have a ways to go, but it's a start. Evil avatar Korra, woo~! Was actually sitting on the idea for a few months, until this image: cdn.artstation.rocks/p/assets/… gave me the post inspiration to move forward!
