A little vent piece about having disordered thoughts-
A snake twists into the night
hanging upon branches in the most pleasant of dreams
Coils flashing along the moonlight path
Innocent betrayel
You whisper your thoughts in my ear
and tighten your grasp on my palm
A sigh of unpleasant thoughts
and an excuse to keep the pit in my stomach longer
You coil deeper, burying into my life
yet you may no mind to my suffocation
You are me,
you whisper.
I am you.
I whisper back.
Yet that feels wrong, somehow
For you may have come from me
but I am not you.
I claw back, and see now that you are around my neck
and your grasp is too tight to bear
but I am not you
and you will never own me.
