Hey look a new drawing... Anyway, say hello to Tony! Last name unknown. I was looking through some Zoot-Suit pics and studying just that little sub Mexican Culture when I was drawing this dude. It used to be a gesture drawing that I did in my art class, but after making some modifications and stuff I turned it into a skeleton zoot-suiter. I was gonna make this into a different more serious project, but I wanted to have fun. Tony here also has his own backstory, it goes like this:

During the hight of the Zooter Riots back in the 40s Tony was one of the first guys to get thrown in the slammer. His crime was assaulting a police officer with a lead pipe. In the Joint he plotted a way to bust out. During his attempt he triggered a huge riot in jail! During the ruckus, a big group of inmates knocked him over and his left hand got CRUSHED by tons of others running around the place. After everything settled down Tony was rushed to the prison hospital they had to amputate his hand. During the procedure however something went wrong Tony started losing a lot of blood… He died on the table. When he got to the land of the dead, he was rewarded. For what? For putting up with all the crap he had to deal with in his final hours. So now he's living his dead life oh so fine... Even though he's missing his left hand

Anyways it was fun drawing this guy, this is the first drawing I've finished in a LONG time! It's honestly one of my favorite drawings. Maybe I'll do more Skeleton inspired work, I got other things in the oven as oh now, just so you know
