Description
Dimnes are quite strange creatures. They look like some kind of praying mantis with a human head, but without mouth. Instead of that, they have TWO mouths, both at the end of their mandibules.Dimnes are faster than light, and therefore are fearsome predators.
All done with airbrush in Photoshop 7; the right perspective was obtained using a 3D model of the creature.

Gotta love the teeth! The shading throughout the picture is fantastic, but I especially like it on the teeth and mandibles.
Not to mention the character design in and of itself. Very creative and unique!
As for the head. . .I really don't see any problem with it.

awsome!
Everything looks great like usual except for the head
the head looks flat and I personally don't like the shade

The imagination you have is just wonderful.
But the expression and the details are somewhat dissapointing considering the dramatic scene. It needs more variable shades to make it look like real 3D or at least to make it look so.
And the background.
The layers of trees and the grass were nice choice but easy and careless.
Everybody could know you simply used the photoshop brush for that.
At least you had to add more depth for the colors.
Well, it could have been a lot better if you concerned a bit more about the details.
And one more.
Give a focal point on your work. -- where the place that you want to get viewers' attention. Like eyes or the claws.
It gives your artwork some rhythm -- strength and weaknesses.

... extremely wild, original stuff... I really like this, and am curious how you used the 3D model in your composition, since I don't see any "traditional" 3D figures in this...
