College Work - Fall 2006 - Graphic Design II - Project #1 - GDD Logo

The purpose here was to create a logo for the graphic design department at my college (Burlington County College - http://www.bcc.edu/pages/1.asp ). I started out just sketching out the letters GDD and the idea of a mouse becoming the letter D came to me. When I attempted to create the logo on the computer, I couldn't make up my mind. I came up with 2 main logos and variations for each.

This is a work in-progress. One student's logo will actually be chosen for the graphic design department. Hopefully mine gets picked! Apparently, my logo was in a similar style as Mary's work (I think she's one of the judges), so I'm hoping that gives me somewhat of an advantage.
