CHARACTER: The cold, logical, Decepticon scientist has returned ... IN ULTIMEX FORM!

ART PROCESS: This, by far, has to be my most effects-heavy design. As always, it's based in Begctor's design, this one is Shockwave. However, I started by changing the red highlights to yellow highlights. I wanted to give Shockwave more of a unique feel as his own area of the Ultimex universe. Next, I just darkened some values and did some shading here and there, and then, the effects began. I created a gradient for his eye and added some noise around it. I created a gradient for the arm cannon. I created a translucent stroke around all the yellow highlights to better integrate them into the design. I aded a fire blast effect for the cannon. Yeah, that's seems like it.
