Description
As some of you may know, I'm an avid collector and some might say I'm a hoarder. Both are correct. I have a hefty collection of minerals (around 300 individual specimens) and I have finally figured out how to take photos of my minerals.

This is Alunite, sulfate mineral, lab-grown. There are numerous, very loud mineral collectors who have exclusionist attitudes and are heavily against lab-grown minerals and their crystals but I could not care less. The crystallisation process is the same under anthropogenic or non-anthropogenic circumstances.

Note: I don't have a telescopic lens, a good lamp, a tripod or a professional camera (mine's a compact digital camera), all of these are improvised and might get updated in the future.
